AMOUR - my way of loving

i love a lot of things. i love and i love. i love blasting music in my headphones in the car as i look out the window. i love the smell of early summer mornings. i love crocheting in my backyard. i love hiking in the forest. i love admiring blossoming flowers, awakening from their winter slumber. i love late night dance parties in my bathroom. i love getting lost in a good book. i love daydreaming and eating berries. i love my dog and i love the sunshine. i love the fall and i love the springs. i love the winter too, despite the cold and bitterness i tend to display. i love summer too, with its constant heat and smell of the beach. i love fun socks and mascara. i love singing my heart out to songs. i love warm sweaters and mugs. i love crystals and lavender-vanilla scented things. i love dark nights lit by candles with the windows open in my room, jazz playing in the background. i love the sound of the guitar playing at a campfire. i love my stuffed animals and my blankets. i love the moon. i love stargazing while laying on the cold ground in the middle of the woods, nothing in front of me but endless space. i love art and the way it makes me feel. i love old music and fashion. i love feeling the brush of a hand against mine and meaningful eye contact across rooms. i love shared laughter and quiet whispers. i love pinky promises and love letters. i love friendship bracelets and everlasting bonds. i love my friends, and even though they might not love me back, i would give them the sun and the stars. i love too much, i think. or maybe i love just enough. either way, i believe i am meant to love things and people. though, i never seem to receive that love back. you see, i love the possibility of love. i love the thought of being loved. i love the thrill of loving. and i continue to love unconditionally. i could go on and on about what i love, but i think i know how much i love.
